Appearance: Axel is rail thin and tall, about 6 foot even. He has spikey, bright red hair that would stand out in a crowd. His eyes are a piercing emerald green with two black tattoos underneath each of his eyes. He has no other tattoos other than that, and has several piercings in his ears [three in one ear and one in the other]. He typically is seen wearing a long black trenchcoat over all of his clothing.
Personality: Axel is a firey [no pun intended D|;;] Nobody that is extremely manipulative of others to get the results he wants. Those results aren't always for his own self gain, however. He does care for others that are close to him, but prefers to use manipulation to get to that result. Almost all the words that come from his mouth drip in sarcasm. He doesn't take too many things too seriously unless it involves those he cares about, which are a few amount of people. He can be friendly, but it isn't the type of friendly most people would consider normal. Axel is a pyromaniac at heart. Anything involving fire and explosions is right up his alley. Axel can get downright stubborn and is quick to anger, however, there is another side of him that no one really sees.
Backstory: Axel was dumped off in an orphanage at birth, so he has no memory of his parents at all. While growing up, he had moved around from foster home to foster home because of no family truly wanting him. According to all the foster families, he caused too much trouble. As a child, Axel never did well in school and never formed any lasting friendships with any of the other children. He moved around from home to home and school to school, he never had the time in order to create a lasting relationship with anyone. When he went to high school, he decided to run away from his current foster home and live on his own. He dropped out of school and decided to join the army. He enjoyed to tamper with demolitions and weapons, but did not appreciate being told what to do by his superiors. He then ran away again to Rapture to get away from the Army and his pastlife in order to find something better.
